Jack Astor's Grill Kitchener

This was our second visit to Jack Astor's, and my wife and I were really looking forward to a special dinner. We even purchased a dining gift card in anticipation of a great experience. Unfortunately, our excitement quickly faded when the waitress seated us at a high-top table, even after noticing that my wife is shorter and would be uncomfortable. We initially assumed that other seats weren't cleaned yet and accepted the table, but later we noticed many other empty seats that looked much more comfortable. It was unclear why those seats were reserved. By the time we realized what was happening, it was too late; our appetite and mood had already diminished. To make matters worse, the food was just average, and the waiter didn't check in with us until we called her for the bill.

I had my first meal at Jack Astor’s in Kitchener, and it was a great experience. My husband chose the fish and chips, while I opted for the chicken parmigiana along with a blue raspberry lemonade. The hostesses were very friendly, and our waitress, Ava, provided excellent service. The food was fantastic! It arrived hot, tasted delicious, and the portion sizes were just right. We will definitely return. Thank you for a wonderful dinner!

Our server Carley made this a truly memorable dining experience. The DJ played an incredible selection of music, enhancing the atmosphere. The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. We had a lovely evening out with some intriguing drink options on the menu. It's, as always, a great venue for a meal. For those looking for vegetarian choices, there are plenty available—we even enjoyed the veggie nachos as our starter. Plus, parking is accessible.

I would like to praise Jack Astor's for their exceptional food and outstanding service. It was my first date in Canada, and I was truly impressed by the delicious dishes and charming atmosphere of the restaurant. I highly recommend trying their cheesecake!

The experience was fantastic! We dined on the patio and decided on the LIIT BOWL, which was just right for the two of us. We also shared their WonTon Nachos, and wow, they were incredible! For our main courses, we had the Chicken Parm, which was absolutely outstanding, and the Spicy Chicken Sandwich, which was just as delicious. The staff was friendly and welcoming, adding to the great atmosphere. Overall, this is a wonderful spot for a date night or a fun gathering with friends!
