Contribuiți la feedbackRude staff. Very expensive small sized portions. The taste..awful: mashed potatoes tasted like bad cheese, tha aplle sauce without taste and the meat ... I still can't figure out its taste. The vegetables in huge recipients and placed such way that a short person can't get almost anything. Water and no other choices for drinking. One of the worst experiences in Kista restaurants. I would not recommend it to anyone. The name of the restaurant is Upper East not West. No restaurant with West in the name is in the area.
This is the sort of place where people go during the lunch break. You get to choose from a fish-containing meal, one with meat, a vegetarian one, three sorts of Cesar sallad, and a chevresallad. The dishes containing fish, meat, or the vegetarian are different each day. Besides, there are side-sallads that one can combine so as to complement the main course. For the drinks, there is water (still and sparkling) and coffee. Apart from a varied offer, I like to go there because the food is tasty, appealing, and plenty.
This is a great lunch restaurant, well visited by business people in Kista area. The food is very fresh and the chefs are great at presenting it and preparing each dish. Fantastic salad table and home made bread. Tastes great!! Usually three dishes to choose from, meat/fish and sometimes a pasta and a vegetarian option (also salads). One can almost feel the efforts put into the food. Strongly recommend this restaurant.
My favourite lunch restaurant in the Kista area. The food is always freshly prepared and well presented and the cooks work hard to present new dishes all the time so you never get bored. Each day there is a excellent meat dish and either fish (usually or pasta (less often plus a vegetarian option. In addition there are always delicious chicken or shrimp salads available making 5 choices each day. Upper East (as it is actually called, on the signs! is rightly popular and used to get uncomfortably full, but recently it expanded into a vacant adjacent property and the seating is now far better. The quality is as high as ever. Upper East serves only water (still and lightly sparkling and makes its own delicious Durum Wheat bread, which can be bought by the loaf as well as being offered free as part of lunch. The prices are a little above average but the quality justifies the little extra you pay, so value is still good in my opinion. I keep coming back anyway. It is a little cheaper if you buy their lunch coupons in advance too! Highly recommended
I have been to Upper East several times now and I find the food well prepared and tasteful. The salad bar has many choices for every taste. Usually 5 dishes are prepared for lunch with one fish, one meat, one vegetarian and a couple more.
