Was in the mood for some puerto rican eating and this place came up. determined to take a chance and it was worth it. eating was delicious and definitiw one of the better latino restaurants around. I saw they place music, but not sure at what time. in any case they try this place. when they feel clogged after their meal, we are in luck. there is a ross store next to the business to foot from this delicious eating!

I've been here several times, and the food is always fresh and delicious. The music is just right! The service is friendly and well-managed. For those who complain about wait times, perhaps you should just stay home and cook. Thank you!

If they want to experience the aromes of the island, this is the place to go,ive it was several times and tried something new each time. the spice is at point. I recommend the mofongo and white rice with red beans and bistec encebollado.

Now, let’s get to the highlight of the evening: the food! Unfortunately, I didn’t snap a picture of the beautifully presented mofongo con chicharrón de pollo, but I have to say it's my favorite dish. I hadn’t had it in a while, but tonight reminded me why every time I crave mofongo con chicharrón de pollo, I think of El Nuevo Ponce! The chicken is perfectly seasoned and incredibly juicy, paired with a refreshing mojo sauce that complements the crispy chicken beautifully when dipped into the mofongo. I even used the mojo to enhance the salad that comes with the meal, and the flavors all come together to create a truly cohesive dining experience—definitely a solid 10 out of 10! I sincerely hope this review convinces you to come and taste this dish, or at the very least, to enjoy a night out in your favorite island setting or one you wish to explore soon!
