First I asked about the vegan options and the first thing she says is the honey grill soy dish. I said her honey is not vegan. then I ask about the dahl and salat and asked which dresses they had. they answered, they have ranch and mayonnaise. then she goes on to tell me about all the meat options they have, and I told her that I have seen online someone mentioned that they have a separate vegan menu. then she puts me down and gives me the menu vegan. all prices are much more expensive and I asked why. she says it's 5 more to dinate. I asked if I could go the ****, but I first made sure it was actually vegan. she said it was fish in it. I said why it is on the vegan menu when it has fish. She said she can take off the fish. I said okay, but is everything else vegan, how do they use any butter? she says there's butter in the rice. I said that's not vegan. I should have just walked out, but I was in a hurry. I ordered the ache I suspect was free from butter, but who knows. then I noticed on the menu next to goat, ochsenschwanz and other forms of animal cruelty, they also have trip and kuhfuß. in the round I saved 5 so that I could get my food in wasting styrofoam, a plastic bag and a plastic fork in a plastic packaging. eating was not even very good. neither of their menus are consistent. the ones on the table, and the ones they showed me at the table were quite different.
While the ackee, callaloo, red beans and rice, mixed veggies, and honey tofu bites were all delicious, there weren't many options on the vegan menu. In fact, there were only three choices available.
I inquired about the vegan options at the restaurant and was initially recommended the honey barbecue soy dish, despite honey not being vegan. I then asked about the dahl and salad, inquiring about dressings available. The server mentioned ranch and mayonnaise, and also listed various meat options. After mentioning a separate vegan menu online, I was provided with one at my table, albeit with higher prices for dining in. I requested the ackee to go, ensuring it was vegan-friendly, but was informed it contained fish. The server offered to remove the fish, but revealed there was butter in the rice. Despite these inconsistencies, I opted to order the ackee, though unsure of its vegan status. I also noticed animal products like goat, ox tail, tripe, and cow foot on the menu. The food, served in environmentally unfriendly packaging, was underwhelming, and I observed discrepancies among the various menus offered at the restaurant.
There are times when we (my wife and I) are looking for something that is in the discovery of a new and exciting meal. Today, We experienced something new, a beautiful and well-made meal in a place called “Better U Dining”. To say that both the meal and the owner served us fine cooking, fresh and tasty. We order Ruck Chicken and Ruck Pig, both plates came with rice and peas and salad made with fine care. What to drink, we order real fruit stamps with ginger, it was a surprise, but very pleasant to taste. Overall, our experience was enthusiastic and very satisfied. I must include a very good service and we will be back for more!
