Ok, so maybe it's a tad pricey for such basic premises, but if you try the food you'll understand why & you'll be back! If you don't mind the kitsch decor and the Spanish stucco exterior, you will certainly enjoy a meal here. You can't go wrong with their Sechuan chicken, chow mein, fried rice and lemon chicken. There's no filler or fake chicken here that you might find in cheaper establishments, and they're happy to make meals diabetic-suitable or msg free.

Really liked this place as the people were friendly and we had good fast service. the food was good in terms of choice and quantity. the price is quite good. place is clean and plenty of parking. would go again

Great food and wonderful friendly staff .we really enjoyed all the meals we picked we had 2 young children with us and they loved it as well.our meals came out very fast and presented well. Will be going back as we had a really good experience.parking was good and a lovely area at front that you can sit and wait for friends.

House of Fortune is a classic Chinese restaurant with classic dishes to drool over, specifically their shredded beef and fried ice cream. Special mention to their mouth watering Chicken wings in spicy salt. There are definitely plenty of well known Chinese restaurants which have the same exact dishes mentioned however, their standards aren't the same. To be specific, their shredded beef actually has meat to them whereas specific places don't have any beef except for fatty burnt skin, their chicken wings are highly recommended with their generous portions and their Fried Ice cream - no doubt the best I've tried. In addition to all this - I'm sure there are other dishes to die for however one must go back and try more, their service and atmosphere is great. Anna, who is the owner of House of Fortune looks after her regulars and newcomers, she's a great host and manager. Couldn't ask for more from a small restaurant located at Kirrawee, just wish it was closer to the CBD to get more customers. But besides that, this restaurant does get their real busy moments during Friday/Saturday/Sunday.

The service is good here but the servings are small for a Chinese restaurant.
