Kafe Agata - Kirov

The renovation is really impressive; I don't know what it was like before, but now it's a completely modern and stylish restaurant. The business lunch selection was a bit odd, featuring three pre-set menus, so I opted for something different. The dessert and soup were excellent, but the fish let us down a bit as there were bones in the fillet. It's relatively affordable, and while I can't comment on the dinner menu, I definitely see a reason to return. It's suitable for business meetings as well.

I had lunch on a weekday. The ambiance was very pleasant. I liked that the different rooms were decorated in various styles. The menu was impressive, with plenty of options to choose from. The service was efficient and unobtrusive. However, I wasn't a fan of the background music, though that might not be an issue for everyone.

I didn't expect that recently, among all the places I've visited, Agatha would turn out to be the best. Yes, I had been there before, but I didn't feel the same effect. I enjoyed everything—the food, the service, and the decor. The only downside, which is more of a personal issue, was the dim lighting that made me feel sleepy; however, that's just my own sensitivity, as my wife, who was with me, didn’t feel the same way.
