Sapore Italian Cafe - Kirkwood

We have eaten here many times over the years. Probably 2—3 times per year. Overall I recommend eating here. Hopefully by the time you eat here, the bathrooms will be clean, especially the toilet mens and the mirror. Also, if you make reservations a month in advance, you should call again to verify that reservation is still valid because chances are you will lose your seat and they will put you at a table smaller than what your party will fit comfortably. New Years Eve Dinner. Everything was perfect. The Sicilian scallops were excellent and the risotto under them also or better than excellent. Salads well executed. Caesar dressing was notable. The veal chop probably was the best steak out I’ve ever had — simply otherworldly. Vitello also quite good. Service was excellent without being overbearing. Our waiter was Nori. He was very knowledgeable with helpful suggestions on both food and wine. Very nice ambience. Amazing experience.

I eat here every year on my birthday it's my fav restaurant. I would go more, but once a year keeps it fresh for me
