I'm not sure what has happened to the food at this restaurant. The last time I visited a year ago, the food was good. However, on my recent visit, it was not up to par. I ordered Kung Pao chicken, but what I received was far from what I expected. I've had this dish from various places, and this was not it; it was simply chicken with some chili flakes on top. I hope this was just a one-time issue.

During my vacation in Orkney, the cold weather made me long for some warm, comforting Chinese food. Fortunately, I stumbled upon this restaurant. The food was incredible and truly authentic, reminiscent of the dishes back home in Singapore. I enjoyed dining here twice during my two-day stay in Orkney, which surely speaks to the quality of the cuisine. The owners were also very friendly and welcoming.

They offer gluten-free options upon request. While the selection is somewhat limited, the staff is attentive and will check the ingredients before making recommendations. Just be sure to clearly indicate that you have celiac disease rather than just a gluten intolerance. They were very accommodating and answered all my questions without any issue.
