Big Daddy Diner - Kirksville

I wish the menu had a bit more variety. Some items were marked, which was helpful, but I think a completely redesigned menu would really enhance the experience at this restaurant. I ordered the steak and potatoes, and they were fantastic! The potatoes, in particular, were excellent. Our waitress was very friendly, making the experience even better. While there are some simple improvements that could be made, overall, I had a great time.

Big Daddy's has recently opened in Kirksville, and I am excited to visit this restaurant. It's not your typical Midwest coffee shop or diner. Instead, they offer a diverse range of authentically prepared dishes from the Middle East and India, along with classic burgers and fries. I tried the butter chicken, which was delicious, served in a generous bowl alongside a dish of Basmati rice and flatbread. While it could have been served a bit hotter (considering it was close to closing time and freezing outside), it was still enjoyable. The menu showcases a wonderful variety of ethnic cuisine, and I can’t wait to sample everything they have to offer! The restaurant is situated in the old KFC building, which isn't the most attractive location, but it has been renovated, and the necessary health measures seemed to be in place during my visit. Be prepared to take your time enjoying your meal, as they serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner family-style.
