Thai Sakon - Kirklees

While in Huddersfield to see Muse, we stumbled upon a well-regarded Thai restaurant located conveniently close to the stadium. The restaurant was unexpectedly situated in a basement, but the space was utilized effectively and the modern decor was inviting. The service we received was excellent, with all staff members remaining cheerful and friendly despite the bustling crowd of Muse fans. However, the food was a bit of a mixed bag. My ribs starter in sweet and sour sauce fell short as the meat was lacking in quality and the sauce lacked the expected flavor. My wife's crispy noodles with prawn mix arrived cold, and she found her stir-fry only average. On the bright side, my Massaman Curry was outstanding - bursting with flavor like none I've had before. We opted for the early bird menu, which was reasonably priced. Despite our mixed dining experience, we would be willing to give this place another chance.

We visited this restaurant for the first time and we are happy we did. We had a wonderful time and the food was amazing. We were seated downstairs, which was cozy and comfortable. We chose the early bird menu and there were plenty of options. I had the Gai Chud Ben Thot and the Pad Priaw Wan, both dishes were delicious and full of flavor. My partner had the Tofu Chud Ben Thot and Pad Pak Pasom, again both dishes were very good. We will definitely return to this restaurant, we can't believe we waited so long to try it!

During booking I mentioned that one of our party needs gluten-free food and right from our arrival they were at the top of this. the menu is extensive and we all had different dishes and we all really enjoyed everything. it is a nice restaurant with a quiet atmosphere and we all said that we would definitely come back. its also very inexpensive for such high-quality foods and all staff were really helpful and friendly.

The best Thai food by far, we had a lot of take-aways in tiling and great to eat again, the food is so fresh and tasty and the personal friendly and welcoming, the place was full a few times recently as we. tries to book what is great to see that places like these are back in full capacity. the disadvantage.....Hard to choose what to have, how everything is good, must force me to try new dishes, otherwise I just pull myself for my favorite, green chicken curry, huhn massaman, so that this time had a fish dish, it was nicely cooked to perfection and not seasoned, cannot remember the name of the teller. had space for bananas in kokosmilch (only)

Perfect have never visited before, but saw great reviews and chose this for our daughters we went with the group meal and it was amazing eating was fantastic and the staff was nice! will definitely visit again! at the end they brought...a happy birthday plate for our daughter with a desert, completely unexpected, so beautiful! she had the best night! thank you!
