Contribuiți la feedbackI came to this restaurant to avoid the KFC in Dewsbury because I heard the one in Birstall was much better. However, I was disappointed to find that the portion sizes were smaller than expected, with the fries and zinger fillet being particularly small. I ordered the trilogy meal and found myself eyeing up McDonald's for a burger for dessert, as the meal left me wanting more. It may be suitable for those on a diet, but for £10, I was hoping for a more satisfying meal.
Myself and my partner hadn 't been to KFC for ages and came to get take away food from this location, we ordered and the self serve screen, there were a couple of customisations we selected for our order. Having ordered over £25 of food we waited for our order to be prepped, the staff were service other customers at the drive through and for delivery. When our food was being prepared we asked if we could have no ice in one of the drinks, the server (Parveen) thrust her hand in my face and waggled it saying 'yeah yeah '. At no point did she make eye contact, smile or treat us with any basic customer service. When the order was ready she thrust the bag of food at us, saying nothing other than enjoy your meal in the most insincere tone and turned her back on us before we had even gestured to pick up the order. When we arrived home we discovered that the customisations that we had paid for hadn 't been included and our order was incorrect. My chicken was tepid and dry, my partners burger was nice apparently, just not correct and they hadn 't included the mash and gravy we had paid for. His chips were okay mine were cold and 'grey ' and covered in 'eyes ', as in not very nice potatoes. It was too far away to return so we have put it down to experience and noted that this is the reason it had been so long since we last came to KFC, probable won 't repeat the experience again. KFC: I 'd highly recommend that the staff received some customer service training that focuses on making the customer experience one they want to repeat not one to forget. Allow the customer time to check the order with a colleague, and have more time for the customers instead of getting back to the conversation with your colleagues. Customers: Go elsewhere, somewhere local to you will have excellent chicken, good service and also you 'll be supporting an independent owner not a massive corporation that survive on name only.
The food at this restaurant was good. The staff were helpful and friendly. However, I was frustrated by the parking fine I received for exceeding the 75-minute limit. The signage for parking regulations should be more visible and located inside the restaurant. The fine cost me £60, which makes me reconsider returning in the future.
This KFC location used to be one of the worst, but in the past couple of months, they have significantly improved. Here's hoping they can maintain this level of quality!
I visited with my daughter and after being stood at the counter for 10 minutes I address a member of the team and asked if anyone was serving.........2 members of the team looked in my direction but the turned away as said nothing!!!!!! I said wow is that you best reply to me or am I actually invisible???? A female team member said yeah I'm serving and then still carried on filling lids!!!!!!! I turned to an elderly gentleman behind me and said is it just me???? He said no I only ordered an ice-cream 15 minutes ago and no one has even attempted to make it. I had to walk out as I was utterly disgusted
