Contribuiți la feedbackI have visited Rockaberry numerous times to purchase cakes for various occasions, and I have never been disappointed. I have tried at least 5 different cakes, but my favorite is the Oreo cheesecake. While some have complained about the prices of the pies, I personally believe that the quality of the cakes justifies the cost. Each cake is worth every penny.
We have bought a millefeuille, almost 27 cad. the millefeuille was a layer sponge cake with 5 centimeters of impact cream! we brought it home and no one did it, we returned it to complain and to them the photo of a REAL...millefeuille they said that it was our millefeuille
I recently attended a baby shower with friends at Rockaberry in the DDO location. The restaurant was quite busy and the food was just average. Unfortunately, during my visit, my wallet was stolen from my purse, which was hanging on the back of my chair. I asked the waitress if they had security cameras, but she informed me that they were not working. She didn't seem too concerned about the situation. I had to borrow money from my friends to settle my bill and ended up not leaving a tip as I didn't have enough cash. The waitress questioned if there was something wrong with my meal, to which I replied no. She seemed perplexed as to why I didn't tip her, despite the fact that I had explained my wallet had been stolen and I needed to borrow money to pay. I was shocked by her lack of understanding and empathy towards my situation. She simply looked at me as if I was in the wrong.
That is how the waitress herself described our meal and she was right. While the desserts we had Truffle (YUM! and Rasberry Cheese Pie were delicious, the meal beforehand left lots to be desired. I ordered the vegetarian stir fry without the onion and bell...peppers. I got exactly what I ordered since it didn't occur to them to replace the onion and bell peppers with other vegetables, I had a bowl that was 70 80% rice noodles with a couple of mushrooms and a few pieces of undercooked brocolli. When I told the waitress (who was very friendly and helpful in everything else that I was disappointed, she offered to bring some more veggies, but never came through. Overall, save your money on the overpriced sandwiches and meals and just go for dessert.
We absolutely adore Rockaberry's cake, but we are consistently let down by their meals. We frequently find them to be dry and lacking in flavor. We suggest sticking to their desserts, as they shine in that department.
