Polarbites - Kirkcudbright

Disappointed not to get a sit down meal as we have done many times before the virus kicked in. When we phoned we were told that they closed at 8pm, we travelled 20 miles arriving at 6.45pm to be told they were running out of chips and as they were about to close we would not be allowed to sit in but have to eat from a box in the car.

Polarbites is situated on harbour square we haven't tried the fish and chips yet but if they compare to the quality of the ice cream then they will be outstanding this is a very popular place in a lovely fishing village there is plenty of car parking opposite

We have been in kbt for 40 years vacation in kbt, with silvercraigs caravan park, now progressed on the sea caravan park, but we always visit polarbites for a tasty and before we go home, we get a huge freezer pack from the fishing business next to the door to take, as the prduce is by far the best of the sea,

Absolutely love it here food always fabulous, fresh and massive portion. Great choice not your average chippie. Staff are friendly and helpful. Over all best fish and chips ever. Roll on my next holiday for my next helping. Thanks polarbites you rock!!!!!

Simply the best fish and chips for miles, welcoming eating area, always fresh, reasonably priced, would definitely recommend.
