The chippy box offers fantastic value, and the calzone is truly unique!

We likely had the best fish and chips I've ever tasted at La Valente's on High Street in Kirkcaldy. The batter was nice and crispy, the fish was juicy, and the chips were excellent, seasoned perfectly with a touch of salt and vinegar. The service was quick, efficient, and very polite. I can't recommend this place highly enough! Absolutely superb!

The fish served here is usually very good and quite affordable, typically coming with two pieces. However, their consistency is a bit lacking. About four out of five times, the fish is crispy and cooked perfectly, but on that odd occasion, it can be soggy, the batter can be greasy, and the fish might turn out dense and lumpy. Overall, it's usually a good experience and, in my opinion, deserves a solid four stars.
