The Flying Poet - Kinsale

There was no hummous when we ate there but they do have vegetarian toasties (sandwiches) vegan guacamole and caprese with mozzarella cheese. Also good hot chocolate. Updated from previous review on 2023 08 29

Cute little cafe with one vegan option: the vegan sandwich was very delicious. Unfortunately, they didn't have any vegan cakes but they had plant-based milk.

I see previous reviews in 2021 etc had vegan options available. When I swung by perhaps four to six months ago, there was unfortunately no vegan lunch options at all available. It was unclear were things sold out, or just not on offer. Place looked really nice tho! Would come back if vegan options were available.

Nice little coffee place with a wide selection of books for sale. The owner was an aviation pilot so the place is full of aviation pictures, books and other memorabilia. They don't have many vegan options, but they have toasts and muesli. Ah! And they do toasts for 1€! Updated from previous review on 2021-11-29

This place is downright the cutest, sitting just a block off the quay. It’s got a big book selection, all in great condition despite being secondhand, and the atmosphere is inviting and warm. The menu isn’t huge, but the staff are more than helpful and accommodating.
