If you're searching for a hidden gem, this is the place to go. The wedding cake cupcake is so delicious that I almost hesitate to share it with others. Everything you sample here is moist and delightful. While I usually favor whipped icing over the classic type, their traditional icing is sweet yet packed with flavor.

I absolutely love Smallcakes! My favorite flavor is the wedding cake, and I enjoy it so much that I order it every year for my son's birthday cake. This location created a fantastic cake for us. The prices are reasonable because they use icing instead of fondant, which is a nice bonus. I also bought cake balls and cupcakes to match my son's skateboard theme. All the cupcake toppers and the cake topper were sourced from an Etsy shop.

I'm not sure if it was due to a party happening or the time of day, but there weren't as many cupcakes available as I had anticipated. However, we managed to find a couple that looked and sounded appealing. My first disappointment came when I noticed that the striped straw on my cupcake was made of paper. As someone who used to run a cake business, I consider it a decorating fail to use inedible decorations; it really should have been white chocolate. The frosting was the only part of the cupcake that had any flavor, but it didn't stand out because it tasted like there was an excessive amount of shortening in the recipe. The cake itself was moist but utterly unexciting—no filling, no unique flavor, just plain and bland. It’s frustrating to order a cupcake that sounds fun only to end up with something resembling a standard yellow cake. I understand it’s a franchise that sticks to the chain's standard recipes, so I can't expect a personal touch from the owner. Well, we gave it a shot.

Stopped in with 2 of my little one night for cupcakes. Not only were the cupcakes super dry, they have the nerve to charge $4 per cupcakes with store bought icing. I bake from time to time and use the same icing that was used on the sprinkle cupcakes. Mydaughters ate the icing and that was it! For $4 per cupcake, you should at least make homemade butter cream.. Very happy with this place, their cupcakes are super tasty I definitely recommend this place when their guys are looking for sweet and delicious cupcakes, their coffee is also very good, can not wait to taste their ice cream next time.
