ROBS Restaurant - Kingsville

Usually the food is so good here. We got hotdogs that were not cooked whatsoever and had a strange colour to them. Then very greasy nachos and cheese. Looked like Cheese Whiz was drizzled all over it. Also the burger was no where near their normal standard. Really too bad as the food in the past has been very good.

The food is always excellent, other than the one time I got the roadkill sandwich and the chicken was raw. They changed the way they cook them now and no problems. BIGGEST ISSUE IS THEY ARE HARDLY EVER OPEN. Rob runs his catering business out of his food truck and the truck is normally full of bins and other stuff for the catering. He never seems to cook out of the truck but there is another guy who normally does, when they're open of course. We have wanted to get their food at least 10 times in the past 2 months and each time we go there, they're closed. One time Rob was in the truck and told me that they were closed due to a catering event they were getting ready for. So disappointing. My suggestion is for them to hold regular hours and run the catering separately. We'd eat there a lot more if they did.

I stopped by to picked up food for a gathering at my house. It was for a birthday for 20 people. I asked what they recommended and was given a great order. The food was great and everyone loved it. I have returned on different occasions.

Eat here all the time, best hamburger around. Make sure you are hungry when you come here. Everything is excellent at this place.

Truly the best burger this side of Toronto! Excellent menu with plenty of options even for those that may not be up for a burger. Everything is amazing!
