Tang Dynasty - Kingston

Our dining experience at Tang Dynasty surpassed all expectations. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, the decor was impressive, and the location was pristine. We opted for the Tang Dynasty Degustation and each dish was exquisite. The menu curated by the chefs showcased the restaurant's strengths. The portion sizes were generous for the price. We highly recommend Tang Dynasty as the top choice for Chinese fine dining in Canberra.

The yum cha was awesome - they went above and beyond to cater to our pescetarian, vegetarian, and meat-eating dietary needs. The food was fantastic overall!

This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Canberra. The service is exceptional, the place is immaculate, and the food is outstanding. Our go-to dishes are the honey chicken, vegetarian fried rice, and any of the lamb dishes. The dumplings are also the best I have ever tasted. Everything is made from scratch with fresh ingredients, and you can truly taste the difference. My partner and I dine here about three times a month, enjoying the beautiful view of the lake and sunset. We highly recommend this place for any occasion - whether it be a romantic dinner, family event, or a casual meal with friends. It's definitely worth a visit! Enjoy!

We had a 12 course Yum Cha here today. Absolutely delicious and highly recommend you try it. $29.90 per person which we thought was very reasonable considering the quantity and the quality of the food. The waitress was very friendly, helpful and only too happy to modify the food to suit our dietary requirements. Do yourself a favour.

Tang Dynasty is something of a Canberra institution, having served high-end Chinese food for about 40 years, most of the time at the Kingston Shopping Centre and now at the Kingston Foreshore. The food was excellent, the staff attentive,but not intrusive and the venue is lovely as the Foreshore generally is. They also do a nice line in vegetable decorations!
