Contribuiți la feedbackDate of visit: 9th of July 2017 Food Ordered: Salmon Noodles I came to Penny University for breakfast, i ordered a cappucino and the salmon noodles for my breakfast. The taste of the cappucino is quite strong, but it tasted very earthy and i enjoyed it. Moving on to the main star of the show, i was expecting the salmon noodles to be a hot dish rather it was a cold dish (a mistake on my part because soba noodles are typically served cold). The texture was unique, the soba salad was added with small crispy bits to add texture and the sauce was a great combination on the soba salad and the salmon. I would return here again for breakfast, the staff was very friendly! When i came to the café, the place was packed but they helped to clear up a table for me and everything was organized in an orderly fashion. I am rating the vibe and atmosphere a solid 5.0/5.0 and the food taste and variety to be a 4.5/5.0 because alot of dishes such as the wonton soup contained meat products.
Back at my fav. Friendly service with a smile. Smashed avo gets it again. Quinoa the only way I like it with corn off the cob, chives, tomato. Fun music combos. Oh and coffee, great coffee. Happy Queen's Birthday
A local favourite in Kingston with ample street parking nearby. Penny University open early (from 6'ish) for coffee although officially the kitchen is only open from 7am. And the coffee is good. Ristretto and Espresso settings spot on with a deep, concentrated mouthfeel and flavour. The single origin of the day in a long black was silky, balanced. A lovely, light fruity acidity with a long medium cocoa finish. Open on a Monday (some cafe's on the nearby Kingston foreshore are not) and have the convenience of an all-day menu. So you fancy something different for breakfast? Just do it! Service was on par and polite for a cafe. Table service if you're dining in. From watching the turnover even early in the week, it is obviously a popular local cafe. For good reason. On a cold, wintery below-zero Canberra Winter, the wonton soup went down a treat. The broth light, not overly salty nor overpowering. The wonton's were generous with a sizeable, tasty pork filling. Fresh shiitake mushrooms with a springy base of thin egg noodles. Kept me warm and satisfied. Will drop by again and again.

Just popped in for some brunch, super impressed with the food and beverages we recieved; but please ask if I am finished with my food before you take it away! We were contemplating taking away the large amount of food left behind because it was so delicious, and in any other scenario I have always been asked if I am finished with my food before it is taken away. Super rude, not keen to come back purely because of the customer service. Please train your staff not to be ****. Thanks
