Local Press Cafe - Kingston

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and décor, generous portion sizes, delicious food, and friendly staff.

I traveled from Melbourne for a day trip and discovered this restaurant through Zomato. Everything about it was perfect! The staff were incredibly friendly, and the food was surprisingly delicious and healthy. I particularly enjoyed the pink juice. I will definitely return the next time I visit Canberra!

Anyone else feel like country music is slowly squeezing into today’s music scene? I’m pretty happy about it as I’m a big country music fan. Had the bacon and egg bagel with a long black for breakfast this morning. Danny also had the same thing except he got a flat white instead of a long black. We reckon we will go back tomorrow cause we liked it. Great water view too. Coffee 7.7/10

This is a lovely and bright spot! The large coffees are excellent, and the Cornish Pan was delicious. The generous Bacon Egg Piadina was also a highlight. I might have to come back before we head back to Melbourne!

Food and drinks are great, but service was hit and miss even when it wasn’t looking that busy. I called twice for a waiter and took them 20mins before coming to our table for orders. Food and drinks did came out quickly afterwards.
