King Yuen Chinese Restaurant - Kingston

Just moved to the area and was looking for a nice fresh Chinese take away option. What a hidden Jem!!! The food was so flavoursome and fresh and the owner was so nice and friendly. Nice size mains and did didn’t have that thirsty feeling after loved our first experience

As a local in Mentone, I have considered this restaurant as a takeaway option previously. It was very disappointing. We ordered deluxe GREEN vegetables $16.00) two snow peas, a few mushrooms, a piece of broccoli, tiny pieces of Chinese broccoli, 2 pieces of TOFU, 4 small ears of corn from a can, 8 pieces of carrot and some water chestnuts SERIOUSLY? I rang the owner to complain but was brushed off and told that was Deluxe. We ordered Cantonese Fillet Steak $28.00). Ordinary at best. I have never felt so unfulfilled by a Chinese meal.

10/11/18 .....Michael's birthday ....Had a great night and all our meals were to die for. The service was outstanding and Rico looked after us so well. Happy evening and full tummy....never leave here feeling hungry. Thank you to Rico, the chef and all the staff. See you all soon.

Great in the suburban area! The owner is a very accommodating and humorous gentleman! The food quality also excellent, especially the BBQ pork and Mongolian lamb! Great vide and outstanding service for Chinese restaurant! Highly recommended!!!

My girlfriend and I had dinner at King Yuen over the weekend. The service was impeccable, from the moment we walked in the owner (we assume sat us down and made us feel comfortable. The food was tasty and well priced. They were more than happy to cater for my food intolerances which I realise can be a challenge. Absolutely coming back! Thanks :
