Kehabs on Charmen - Kingston

The food here is very delicious, I felt comfortable and very satisfied since the portions are generous.

I usually avoid spiced mice on a stick style kebab meat, but decided to try it at this local restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised by how good and tasty the food was. I ended up choosing the mixed chicken and spiced mince with chili sauce and was not disappointed.

Located just a short walk from Quest Cheltenham where we were staying, this restaurant was a great option to try. Similar to traditional Cheltenham fish and chips, this was more of a takeout spot, although there were three tables inside for dining in. We ordered the kid lamb kebab and the regular lamb kebab. The kid portion was perfect for me, while the regular portion was very generous with plenty of meat. We were satisfied with our meal and found it to be well-flavored. Additionally, it was good value for the price.

I had high expectations as I really like Turkish food, however, I felt let down. I ordered a full dinner mixed grill, and the meat quality did not taste all that great. The quantity was large enough, but being a tad disappointed on taste I did not finish it. The service was very friendly... so, I'd give this place another try, but would exercise caution in what I order.
