We visited this restaurant for lunch. it was empty and we have a table near the door as we have prams and we didn't want to block anyone if they have customers later. when we waited for high chairs and menus, she called. after a past she brought a table we didn't need, and we asked for high chairs and menus. we were the only customers and she just couldn't accommodate us. later cook( came out of the kitchen and hit us on another table? then she said I know, but they wanted to sit there. f King is annoying in korean. I just couldn't believe what I heard! because we have spoken in English, she has assumed that we have not understood what made it worse, for so she treats customers who do not know Korean?! from what reason and when we were not rude, but only ask for high chairs and menus. so disrespectful! beautiful that we were not there and we had a nice lunch in yami, the next door to this rude place!
I recently visited this restaurant with a Korean friend. they have few tables and the atmosphere is beautiful and warm. we picked this up at the metzger next door and then cooked at the table. we have pork belly, bark, mushrooms and sesame. the quality of eating is great, we were so happy. everything was delicate and delicious. it was the first time that I tried sesame leaves, the taste is really good. everything was wonderful except the service. there was only one waitress for all tables. I will visit this restaurant in future.
We had enjoyed Beef Bugogi at Han's Korean restaurant in New Malden so decided to try it for lunch at the Treestone Kitchen. The Treestone Bugogi was a huge disappointment, mainly because there was no sauce on the dish at all. So we ended up...with plain boiled beef strips with rice and salad. The beef is supposed to be marinaded in a rich sweet soya sauce but there was no trace of any sauce. The dish was devoid of flavour, taste and any enjoyment. Later I noticed I'd been charged for a small can of coke and they'd automatically added for service. They failed to mention this when I added a couple of pounds as a tip because the waitress service was good. So I paid double service for a tasteless meal that any professional chef would never have allowed to leave the kitchen. Will I be going back? Have a wild guess.
Went here with my grown up son Monday evening. Hadn’t been to a proper Korean BBQ before so really enjoyed it. They have a very full Korean menu and a long sushi menu but we went for the Korean BBQ. You pay per person...and you get lots of side dishes and sauces. You then go through to their butcher section and pick out whatever meats you want (you pay for them separately). Tip: the marinated meats are in a fridge near the back and are all amazing. The waitresses help get your bbq hot plate going and you just cook the meats bit by bit m, the sauces they provide are lovely and we ordered some rice to go with it. You can use the lettuce leaves to make wraps too. Will definitely be coming back.
