The Canbury Arms - Kingston upon Thames

Husband I ate here on Saturday. We had starters and main courses that were all really good quality and as you would expect for a good gastro pub. Good selection of wines of the glass and the man was delighted with real ales, especially when they served Sambrook's Wandle. All in all would recommend.

My place. Always very safe, steady and pleasant service. It feels like a renovated large house that matches at the upper end of a pub, while also comfortably sit as a fine gastro kitchen based experience. The staff is never overlaid and, frankly, very much covered. It has an adjacent conservatory that you can dive from the main body of the restaurant or I guess is often set for special occasions. The management always welcomes you with a handshake that is comforting. For what you get, it is not the cheapest, but the general ambience and experience is pleasant enough to overlook them. It's a beautiful place, though I don't want to go to restaurants where you can take dog in.

I'm not sure if it was so many small on this day for a children's party or just a children's day outside, but this pampered the meal, as the children were very loud and sister. However, this was no longer tolerated for rapid grinding in and out. The manager is really nice and recognizes and addresses regular diners that is a beautiful note. My only handle is that if you sit near the door from the outside terrace when the cartridges come out and out of the door slams where no efforts have been made to stop this. It's very annoying and loud. For what you get, it is not the cheapest, but the general ambience and experience is pleasant enough to overlook them. It's a beautiful place.

The Canbury found online and there were 9 of us for dinner. Excellent menu choices and the quality of food and wine was fabulous. Great atmosphere / ambience and very friendly, friendly and helpful staff My only slight criticism could be that the restaurant was somewhat understated, but that would not scare us away from the food again.

We first visited the Canbury Arms for Sunday lunch with my parents a few weeks ago. It was delicious, the service was good and we didn't have to wait too long. The second visit was a birthday lunch with friends. There were seven us in total plus our dog. Everyone commented how relaxing it was. No one rushed us, service again was good and everyone enjoyed their meals. Recommended for catch up with friends or family who enjoy good food and drink in a relaxing atmosphere.
