I had a wonderful lunch at Duke's. The menu offers a variety of delicious dishes to choose from, or you can opt for the main menu if you're really hungry. Whatever you decide on, it will be fantastic. The ambiance and surroundings are pleasant, and the staff is excellent.

Friendly staff great drinks but best of all the food is excellent. As a life long fish and chips fan I must say this is the best on the east coast. At £8.95 you will be astounded at its size and quality. Five stars isn't enough.

We were denied service at this restaurant because we did not have IDs. We arrived for lunch, spoke to the bartender, sat down, and looked at the menu. However, when we tried to order, the bartender informed us that they could not serve us without IDs, not even food or water. It seemed like there may have been another person instructing him, as he appeared unsure of the situation. We were left feeling disappointed and do not plan on returning to this restaurant.

Great atmosphere and service with friendly staff. The food is excellent particularly the fish and chips with an excellent specials of the day board along with good beers and wine. A good mix of age groups during the day overall highly recommended.

I have been a patron of this restaurant for years and have always loved it. However, I was shocked to witness a new bartender pocketing money. This has made me realize the importance of checking my change in the future. It's disappointing to encounter such behavior in a typically nice area. I urge others to be vigilant and start checking their change as well.
