Banrock Station - KINGSTON ON MURRAY

A great little stop on the way home from the Riverland to Adelaide.

Nestled just off the main highway overlooking their wetlands and the Murray river in the distance, Banrock Station has a welcoming feel from the moment you walk through the door. Greeted with a warm smile the staff are eager to inform and answer any questions. The food menu has enough to keep you satisfied and is very well prepared and presented. Sitting on the balcony with a red in hand, doesn't get much better. Wine tasting prior to lunch allows you to choose that perfect drop to accompany the fine fair. The wetland walk which can be long or short is a great way to work off the lunch and a perfect way to finish the day.

Great location, friendly staff and very nice wines!!!We've been here a few times now and we always like it here. A great place to chill out and eat and drink.On a nice day it is a perfect spot too out onto the river and if you have time go for a walk amongst the vineyards :-)
