Tubby's - Kingston

The restaurant/bar is a fun and trendy spot, but the pizza is a bit lacking. The focaccia-like pizzas are loaded with veggies and are quite filling. The vegan cakes are a popular item and sell out quickly. I wish there were more vegan options for pizza or that the vegan cakes were larger. I could eat this food all night if I could. The margaritas are delicious, but the sour mix can sometimes make them too sweet. When the balance is right, they are fantastic. The bartenders are all friendly and the service is excellent. Overall, it's a great local hangout spot.

The drinks were great, but the food was just okay. The pizza seemed more like bread with a sparse amount of cheese and a light touch of tomato sauce. It wasn't terrible, but it didn't quite feel like real pizza. Additionally, I found it to be overpriced for the quality. I would recommend checking ahead to see what live music events are happening, as it can get very loud.
