This place is quick to pick up the phone. It's very clean and friendly. The food is constantly good. I usually get the fried chicken sandwich with lettuce, tomatoes and the tomatoes are fresh, love that! They always have pie too, which is hard to find anymore. Love it, hope it stays around.

We drove past 3 of our favorite places to eat so we could eat at KITTRELS on our way to a Dr appointment in Oak Ridge.First, they no longer open in time to eat breakfast (WHEN they open it isn't until 10 a.m. .Second, after we arrived and find the parking lot empty, we checked Google and find that BOTH the days and times open are wrong (We suggested Google corrections based on what is on their front window. Third, when looking closely at a handwritten sign on the door, the restaurant is unexplainably closed today.What a disappointment.
