Contribuiți la feedbackWonderful spot in Granby with fantastic service and homemade food from scratch! Sally Gary are wonderful people who will have a sweet little conversation with you. The food is honestly outstanding. We came on a Sunday for their buffet. Huevos rancheros, scotch eggs, crispy bacon, perfectly done sausage and all the desserts you could possibly want. Definitely seems like a locals spot. I highly recommend Fat Cat!
Let's be honest, the real stars are the scones (most definitely have them with butter and jam), and the scotch eggs. Went on a Sunday and tried the better part of the menu, though of course there were too many pies and pastries to try all of them. There's a bit of Colorado-England fusion; I don't think huevos rancheros and Colorado chili are standard fare across the pond yet. But if anything that's probably a benefit; if you're local, you can still get local favorites, and if you aren't, you can try some Coloradan and some English fare in one brunch. The owner, Sally, is really friendly and makes time to connect with the patrons, while having adequate staffing to ensure that the food never runs out on the weekends (haven't been there on a weekday). If only she could persuade a few English friends to move to the States and open more English establishments; they are too few and far between. Although the iced tea gets the more prominent billing at the front, they also have hot tea, so you can get a cuppa. Or coffee if that's more your style; Sally respects your preferred source of caffeine. The decor tends more Colorado Cats than traditional English, but that's okay; cats are great. But there is a British flag out front, which is what made me realize I needed to consider eating here.
Best breakfast in town! You're missing out if your don't eat here!! Service is always amazing! Seating area is super cute!
Wanted a simple sandwich to go since my wife has a store to run and cant leave. they said they were too busy to do a take out. their website says eat in and take out. never go back or recommend them like we used to to our customers
Sally hails from Lincolnshire (England) and the diner she owns with her husband highlights that: On the menu is English Fish and Chips. Not on the menu but always available are Scotch Eggs. This is a hard boiled egg wrapped in sausage, deep fried, and served with Branson pickle and garnish. Yum! Be sure to share one (or two or more). Two of these and coffee would make a fine breakfast. On the weekend they host an AYCE brunch buffet (7am-1) for $20 that features the entire menu. I wish I'd been there for that, but I went on a weekday and had Chicken Delight, which is potatoes and scrambled eggs and grilled chicken and green chili perfection. With a flour tortilla. My dining partner loved her huge breakfast burrito. We both took home leftovers. Service was friendly, and our experience was a delight. Take home a fresh-baked pie (about $25) if you can. Ask about the Dingleberry Pie. Seriously. We scored a curbside parking spot on this summer morning. 5 stars
