Cafe la Salle - Kingston

Excellent food, always served hot by a staff providing a great service and all this at very reasonable prices.

We stayed here for 2 nights, beds were great, each morning we went for breakfast in the restaurant, big portions, we had eggs benny and 2 eggs and sausage with toast and potato wedges and coffee. very good. we were stuffed.

After spending the night at the hotel we had breakfast at the Café. They had a featured special that my husband chose and enjoyed very much. I chose fresh fruit and yogurt.Our coffee was poured quickly and offer of refills were there most efficiently. The staff were cheerful and knew their stuff. They added to a great start for our day.

There is a large breakfast, lunch and dinner menu. Service is slow, although friendly. The food is fresh, but just ordinary. Breakfasts are typical. For dinner, my husband had spaghetti in a marinara sauce and a small salad (which was actually quite large!) and I had hot corned beef on rye. The food was fine, but if you are looking for something above average , I'd suggest trying one of the many restaurants downtown.
