Mcalister's Deli - Kingsport

I had heard some wonderful things about McAlister's but had never tried it myself. After a doctor's appointment one day, I decided to stop in for lunch. I ordered the Reuben sandwich, potato salad, and a diet soda. The Reuben was fantastic, but I was let down by the potato salad and the portion size, especially considering the meal cost nearly $12! That was just for one person at lunchtime! I'm not sure if I'll return anytime soon.

To make matters worse, the plate had either a visible stain or was dirty — just really unappetizing! By the time we got our meals, my soup was cold. It was broccoli cheese soup, and eating it cold made it more like thick sludge. Overall, our experience was quite disappointing!

McAllister restaurant stands out because they don't fry any of their dishes. I highly recommend the baked potato; it's quite large. I also enjoy their salads and the hot ham sandwich. The service is excellent, and both the restaurant and the restrooms are clean.

I hate that the prices went up but the food is really good. Love the Black Cherry Iced Tea..the big chocolate Chip Cookies. Savannah chop salad was delish. The service is always good. Nice people work there

I could have put mayonnaise on the bread thicker than the chicken salad. Quality and Service has severely went down on this restaurant. You leave a message for management to call you back, you never hear from them. I would actually give them a negative rating if possible. This rating is after multiple visits lately. All I can say is take your chances and I wish you well.
