Lakeview Marina - Kingsport

First time here, with some friends and this place will not disappoint. We came to hear the band Cash Crop and boy were they good. Played a variety of music, interacted with crowd during breaks. Beer is cold and food is good. Nice place to come and hang out and relax.

My friend and I come here and enjoy the music and atmosphere. But every time we sit at the bar and Bree is working, her service sucks. She's unattractive, disappears alot and it takes forever for us to get a refill. We have seen customers go behind the bar and get their own drinks because they have waited so long! Maybe this could be addressed

Was there last night and had a blast. Really nice. Band was great had a great time will be going back.

We went on a Friday evening after work to hear the band, From the Edge . It was our first time at the Lakeview Marina Marker 2 Grille and we weren 't disappointed. There was ample parking even for a Friday night. And although there were a surprising number of tables reserved, we were able to find a table where we could see the band and a friendly member of the wait staff, Macee came by right away to take our beverage order. We had already had a good lunch earlier in the day, so we decided to try just a few light appetizers: fries and chips with queso dip. The fries were cooked perfectly; a good size serving for $3. However, for $9, the chips with queso was a little more than a handful of tortilla chips and a tiny container with an inch of queso dip. Surprising, but not a big deal. The band was still setting up when we arrived, but they started on time and played a remarkably long first set. The songs were tight, vocals were exceptional and they performed a wide range of musical genres with lots of fan favs. We 'll be looking forward to seeing From the Edge again in the near future. And we will certainly return to the Lakeview Marina Marker 2 Grille to try a few other items on their menu and to enjoy their live music! It 's a comfortable venue with a beautiful setting and everyone seemed to be having a wonderful time all evening. And being right on the water, there was a nice breeze...the perfect way to end a work week! Do note there is a cover charge of $5/person, however for a quality band in a waterfront venue like this, it 's well worth the extra cost. Looking forward to our next visit!
