Fatz Cafe - Kingsport

There weren't many patrons in the restaurant, so we were a little concerned. They sat us in the bar area. It has been a few years since we have eaten at Fatz. We had a barbecue chicken, which wasn't listed as spicy, but it certainly has a kick to it. Portions were fine and our waitress was attentive. Just a so-so dining experience.

I used to really like this place, but we stopped going for a while (just kinda got out of the habit . We came back for the first time in a really long time and were shocked. It was it was almost completely empty at 6:30 pm on a weekend. (And that gave it an eerie feeling The radio was broken and crackling. The food I got wasn't that great (but to be fair nothing was wrong with it, it just wasn't for me. Their little roll thingies were as delicious as I remembered though.

Went at a low volume time. My food was served exceptionally fast. I went two days in a row on the first day I didn't have to wait 10 minutes for a full meal. It was a signature chicken tenders and it was delicious. I even ordered some to take home. The complimentary roles and butter are to die for. The second day I went for all you can eat ribs. Our host Steve was awesome. He let us try the fatz sauce for free and was very attentive to us. The food was great and the place was clean. Will be back!

Service was good I can't say that for the food it was barely ok I won't go back
