Chi-ago's Phat Smoke - Kingsland

I discovered Phat at the Kingsland Welcome Center in January 2022, and it was the best barbecue I’ve had in years. The flavor and texture of the pork were impeccable—juicy and tender, with just the right hint of smokiness. There was no need for extra sauce. I’m already looking forward to my next trip to Georgia!

The BBQ is outstanding! I tried a sandwich at Wellnesspalooza last week, and it was delicious. James and Christina are wonderful individuals; they dedicated their time to prepare a Rotary Fundraiser dinner last year, which turned out to be a huge success! They are a tremendous asset to Camden County.

During our search for some authentic food on the way from our hotel, we stumbled upon this gem! I ordered a half plate, while my husband enjoyed a Cuban sandwich. Every time we pass through, this place will definitely be a part of our journey! A big thanks to Ace of Clubs Party Bus for the recommendation!

Love food and people. Great customer service. Have used them for catering for work and at home. And also stop at the truck. YUMMMY. The food is alwasy big, big portions.

I've ate from the truck set up next to the welcome center a couple of times now to really get a teste for different items on their menu. I have to disagree with some of the reviews I see here. The BBQ is really good and the service was relatively quick. The guys working the truck have been nothing but friendly and welcoming to my buddies and myself. There's always a change of specials so you can expect to have new items to try and their classics on the side of the truck are always mouth watering. I continue to bring my buisness here whenever it's lunch and I'm looking for some good BBQ without braking the bank. I definitely recommend this stop for some good , fresh BBQ.
