Busy Italian restaurant associated with the local winery of the same name. We weren't hungry so just ordered a couple of appetisers which were very average, but the lamb shank and pizzas on other tables looked good so would give them the benefit of the doubt next time. Tried three of the red wines and would recommend the KI Shiraz. Service: Dine in

Tiramisu is very refreshing. It has a texture and taste that I have never tasted before. It is very special! Recommended to eat and see, it won’t be too sweet The pizza taste is just what you can imagine, the crust is very crispy We have changed the pasta for seafood pasta, and it tastes great! It’s not the usual red sauce flavor, and the amount of seafood is plenty! Highly recommended The truffle gnocchi tastes very rich, but the gnocchi itself has no texture. If you change the gnocchi, you will like it better

The food may be good, everyone hates using the online ordering, and they have a captive audience as there are very few places to eat in the evening. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

I was reluctant to go given the terrible history the owners have with many of the KI locals. However, I decided after years of boycotting to dine in. Food was ok, nice atmosphere but staff were pretty average. Nobody seemed interested in serving us we basically had to beg somebody in the end. I wouldn’t say the food was fantastic but certainly wasn’t bad. EDIT: have since been back a number of times. Staff experience much better, food is great.

Wonderful find in Kingscote. Authentic Italian food. Fresh local ingredients. A little disappointed that they were out of the appetizer, main and wine I ordered. Had to find an alternative for all of it. And the service was a bit odd, bringing the mains before we finished the salad, we had to ask them to come back later as there was no room on the table. Overall though, an excellent choice if you would like a special meal out on Kangaroo Island. Food: 4
