Maha Bharat - Kingsbridge

The restaurant staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly, and all the dishes were freshly made from scratch. They were also willing to accommodate any special requests.

Mahab-bharat is a local favorite for us, even before we went vegan. We hadn't visited in a while because we thought there weren't many options for us. However, upon contacting the restaurant, we were pleasantly surprised by the huge and delicious menu. Mahi, whose family owns the restaurant, was very helpful in informing us that most of the menu could be made vegan. The chapatis were a great bread option for us, and we highly recommend trying the vegan onion bhaji with 24 hours notice. The owner, Mr. Islam, was patient and helpful in recommending dishes that suited our preferences. The Subzi Hara Dhaniya and pathia dishes were excellent, along with the veganized mushroom pilau rice. Although Mahab-bharat may not be the cheapest option, the award-winning food and exceptional customer service make it worth it. Contact them through Facebook or phone to discuss vegan options.

While we have tied an Indian meal for the week in torcross and check online in the region, this restaurant came in kingsbridge with a good series of recommended. I was not disappointed, eating was excellent, staff very friendly and was very good to fit us also with a few big bookings for the evening. it was so good that I brought my parents there the next day and couldn't blame them again. highly recommended.

Been going here on and off for 10 years, including many takeaway meals. Always great food and genuine, polite staff. The menu is vast so you'll never get bored of going here!
