Decent. Lovely fish. Great mushy peas. Good curry sauce. Very reasonably priced. Nice to have a decent local chippie close to the in-laws (makes things more bearable).

My normal chippy had already closed for the evening. I decided to use Wootton fish bar as they open until 9pm on a Friday. I Had Jumbo sausage, chips and curry sauce. Worst chips I’ve had from a chippy ever. They were very dry and around a third of the portion were hard, scrappy and inedible. The sausage was of poor quality, contained gristle and definitely not a local butcher’s sausage like many chip shops now sell. The curry sauce was absolutely flavourless, didn’t even taste of curry. Total waste of £6.30 and I’ll not be returning.

The chips were fantastic, and my partners fish too, I often pick cheeseburgers and sadly mine from here was awful, I think they microwaved it, it was as hard as a board. But for fish and chips it's excellent.

Very good fish and chips, but the service was very slow.
