Although our two dogs are not usually comfortable in such environments, particularly our young cocker spaniel, we decided to give it a try. To our delight, upon entering, a water bowl was provided for our dogs along with cozy mats for them to rest on. The staff was incredibly helpful and understanding when we mentioned that our dogs might not be able to settle enough for us to order anything more than a drink. With the help of some dog treats and the relaxed attitude of the staff, we were able to enjoy some delicious hot chocolate drinks. We are grateful to the ladies on the restaurant staff for their exceptional service.
My husband and I reserved Afternoon Tea and we were pleasantly surprised. The staff were kind and accommodating. This is one of the finest Afternoon Teas I have ever had, and I have tried Afternoon Tea at various places such as Harrods and Kensington Palace. The assortment of pastries and sandwiches was exceptional. We were served two scones, one plain and one fruit, which was a nice touch as some places only provide one. A delightful variety of desserts was served last. I highly recommend this Afternoon Tea. It is a great deal for the price.
This was our first time visiting and we were not disappointed. We opted for afternoon tea, which was beautifully presented and delicious. We really enjoyed our experience. The grounds were beautiful and we took a pleasant walk, spotting many different butterflies. The only downside was that the house and church were closed on the day we visited, but we will definitely come back to see them another time.
Very affordable prices lovley food and beautiful setting. Able to sit in the back courtyard which was covered for shade.
Extremely long wait for order to be taken Disorganised system for waitress service Rude staff Mediocre quiche and salad Scone microwaved to death , so hot that the jam and cream turned to liquid , Coffee good but would be better in a coffee cup rather than a China teacup
