Bear Belly Brewing Company

We're always on the lookout for new breweries to try and when we saw Bear Belly on Yelp we decided to give it a go...and, we're glad we did!Here is what stood out: Use your GPS to find it...we parked in the adjacent public parking lot and walked over to where it was supposed to be...the sliding glass door to enter was a little different than we expected, but it reinforces that this is all about a guy making beer and running his own business. We really enjoyed talking to the brew master himself, hearing about his history and the history of the business. He rotates 5 different beers on tap, based on the season, etc. and we found it to be a good mix. We ordered a flight of all five beers and we enjoyed them all!Bottom line: One of those hidden gem places you really want to succeed, so we'll be back for sure!

This place is excellent!Family friendly, but still great for couples and alike.I don't actually live in the Tahoe area but make it a guaranteed mission to stop by here in my once a year visit.They have a mug club now, that I wish I could be apart of. ?If you get a chance to check this place out, you won't be disappointed.

IMHO... The beers here are either wayyy too subdued, or super complex. Very nice place for people who only like beer and those who also adore exploring beer, to get along just fine. And if the food trucks arent consistent, order online from La Mexicana and Bear Belly welcomes picnicking.
