I ordered takeaway and found the fish batter to be soft and soggy. The chips were good, but the mixed seafood was terrible. Overall, the service was disappointing. Meal type: dinner.

Chips were disgusting! I can only imagine a crushed smell or something! Of course, only a few chips had to span the rest. Battered sausage wasn't much better in the middle. Definitely will not be back, which is safe

After a refreshing swim in the sea at St. Helens, nothing beats enjoying fish and chips from Salt and Vinegar! The chips are hot and fresh, definitely among the best in Wexford. In true Italian chip shop fashion, they also offer pasta and pizza. I've been caught off guard a couple of times, so to avoid any disappointment, be sure to check their opening hours online.
