Dempsey's Seafood Steak - Kiln

Went for In Laws anniversary. The food was excellent. I had 2 lbs boiled Royal Red shrimp, with crab stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer. Wife had crabcakes with jalapeño hushpuppies. Everything was great. Best seafood restaurant I have ever tried.

Even if you don't have time to stop at Dempsey's in Mississippi do it anyway and at the very least get the cheese sticks. They will change your life. Everything was delicious! I even got to meet the owner Diane Dempsey she was the absolute sweetest woman.Ask for Erica she gave us the very best service. There is something to be said for the soft shell crab, it was awesome!

Wow! This place is incredible! Tucked away in the Kiln, it has a charming fish camp atmosphere. It strikes the perfect balance between a relaxed vibe and delicious food. We sampled the chargrilled oysters (which were fantastic), the blackened fish (amazing!), sautéed crab fingers, fried fish and shrimp, shrimp and grits, and crab Landon. Everything was expertly prepared and absolutely delicious. From classic Southern fried dishes to more refined seafood options, everything was outstanding. I can't recommend it highly enough!!!

We had a fantastic dining experience with delicious food at a reasonable price. We started with the oyster Rockefeller, which was absolutely wonderful. Then we tried the swamp bisque and eggplant fries, along with a large blackened chicken salad and frog legs. Everything had great flavor, and the portion sizes were generous for the price. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the restrooms were clean. Overall, a lovely place to eat!

The food was good, but given the price, I expected it to be. While we were in the private room for our business event, the servers were quite attentive.
