Lee's - Kilmarnock

I've been eating at this restaurant my entire life and have never had a meal I didn't enjoy. I brought a friend who was visiting Mt. Pleasant, SC, and we tried several local eateries. He said, without a doubt, that the food here was the best he had during his visit, particularly the broiled seafood plate and the coconut cake. He also mentioned that it was on par with the top restaurants in Charleston.

Lee's is a fantastic place to eat! Sure, there's a bit of duct tape on the seats, but that just shows how well-loved this place is. I feel lucky to dine here, especially since they're always bustling with customers. I've been coming to Lee's for 53 years and remember when there was a bar stool along the wall, near where the checkout is now. That was a long time ago, even before the dining area was expanded. The familiar image on the back wall has always been there, evoking so many memories. With welcoming staff, smiling faces, and consistently excellent food, Lee's deserves every bit of its five-star reputation!

I enjoyed a delicious country breakfast featuring scrambled eggs with cheese, ham, toast, and coffee. Our waitress, Jennifer, provided excellent service! It was a fantastic culinary experience shared with my former school classmates. I highly recommend this place!

We came here for the first time, but it won't be the last. The chicken fried steak was delicious and the service was great. We found a new regular dive site.

Always great food! Fried chicken is old fashioned, delicious fried chicken. I don't like stewed tomatoes but Lee's are amazing. If you leave without the coconut pie you really missed your treat for the day. Old fashioned, old style, home cooking!! Yummy!
