Whataburger - Killeen

I received the wrong order despite them having my receipt in front of them. They even added mustard when I specifically said no mustard. I also didn’t ask for jalapeños, but they were on my burger. I didn’t want to go back because the line was so long. This was at Whataburger in Killeen, Texas.

This restaurant is consistently slow. They're putting a new spin on fast food, and not in a positive way. If this had been my first experience at Whataburger, I definitely wouldn't consider returning. We've been waiting 15 minutes and still haven't received our food.

I am a HUGE fan of Whataburger and will always sing its praises. However, I believe the best time to visit this location is during the morning to lunchtime. In the evenings, the service slows down significantly. While I’m sure there are dedicated staff members doing their best, the ones who aren’t pulling their weight tend to bring everyone else down, making it a frustrating experience to get food later in the day—sometimes even receiving it cold.

I always enjoy Whataburger! The food is fantastic, especially the BBQ chicken strip sandwich! It could use a bit less BBQ sauce, but it's still absolutely delicious. Child-friendly: They always greet my son in the back seat, and he really enjoys that interaction.

The restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere, but I believe I may have gotten food poisoning from the salad. The service was friendly, so I really hope this was just a one-time issue. Food rating: 1/5.
