Mike's Take Away - Killarney

I remember going to Mike’s years ago while visiting Killarney and been impressed by the food. Things have not changed. I had the fish meal this time. The fish had a lovely batter and it was served with plenty of chips. The meal was cooked to order and the staff were great . Cannot recommend highly enough.

Ordered a large chip for €4 here and enquired with the girl serving would it be enough for 2 people otherwise I would have ordered 2 medium chips for €3.60 each

Tried Mikes take away for the first time, theres a lot to be said for the food being cooked to order, because the quality is in the eating, well worth calling into, and the staff are very nice to chat to as well

I’m a local and my cousin and I go there because their snack box meal with coleslaw is unreal also the fish and chips. Cooked fresh in front of you. Homemade chips to die for and served with a smile.

Fantastic hole in the wall. It was the best fish and chips we had in all of Ireland. Who would have known? The fish was huge, flavorful, and crispy. The chips were also fried perfectly with a nice crunch. The lady working there was very friendly and made good conversation. I really wish we had a place like this close to home! Will definitely return some day!
