Victorian Castle Kitchen - Kilkenny

Located at the end of a visit to Kilkenny Castle, this cafe offers a selection of pastries and cafeteria options. The tea was delicious, but the cheesecake was just okay. Although the prices were a bit higher, they were fair considering the great location within the castle grounds. I especially enjoyed the muffin and found it to be a nice spot to relax and take a break.

The bar located at the end of the visit to Kilkenny Castle is a fantastic place to relax with coffee and pastries. The tea was exceptional, however the cheesecake was disappointing. While the prices may be a little high, they are fair considering the one-of-a-kind location within the castle. The muffin was delicious, making it a lovely spot to stop and rest.

I had a great experience at this restaurant with fantastic service and delicious pastries. The only downside is that I wish they were open for longer hours.

We had the misfortune of eating in this cafe and paying €22 for tiny pieces of cake and vit hit drinks. The waitress was nice and the guy was very unfriendly and he forget to give us cutlery and then glasses and also came over and said we owe more as they charge wrong too. I said it was already extremely expensive and he said it is a restaurant and I said I’m aware of restaurant charges but I expect cutlery and glasses and he walked away

Lovely little cafe to visit after a trip around the castle. Great selection of lovely cakes available.
