Statham's - Kilkenny

Had a very nice room and a quiet drink in the bar, but the breakfast next day was much more exciting than the hostess managed to insult a series of people, including my wife "did they get a welcome basket? No? then I guess they are not welcome you” was my favorite). that said eating was excellent when it arrived and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Great dinner in Stathams this evening. New look to the place, new menu too.... Good food, good wine and great service from Michelle..... Worth a visit!

We had an amazing dinner at Statham’s! Every dish we tried was delicious. The ginger and sweet potato soup, the special of the day, was a standout with the perfect balance of sweet potato and ginger flavors. The rainbow trout was cooked to perfection and the Ballykeefe sirloin with garlic butter sauce was incredibly tender. The crispy potato hash with truffle mayo was a delightful side dish and the baby gem Caesar salad was elevated by crispy bacon. Although I initially planned to skip dessert, I am so glad I didn't. The warm chocolate brownie with butterscotch ice cream was the perfect end to our meal with flavors that complemented each other beautifully. The service was friendly and attentive. After traveling around Ireland for a week, this was the best meal we have had so far.

I stopped by for a quick lunch and was very impressed! The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and efficient. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We had dinner there on Sept 18 and the food and service were excellent. We ordered several different main courses and all of us enjoyed our meal.
