Nostalgia Cafe - Kilkenny

Very good place, good food Dog friendly, they gave my dog water. The service is great.

The shield Garden Terrace open has lured us. The garden terrace was a covered terrace on the first floor, where we enjoyed ice cappuccino, cans with jam and chocolate cake. It's delicious. The interior above the entrance is rather a bit cheesy than nostalgic.

Danish pastry with fruits was amazing. Pizza Margherita is very fat with tones of cheese, not the best I had, it was exactly the same as in Dunnes stores where they do it for €5. Might be not my type of pizza. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff members. There is a roof terrace facing Dunnes store and busy street. If I'm there again will avoid ordering pizza. Also wine should be stored in fridge.

I only bought coffee from this café so I can only comment on that. The price for a coffee is exorbitant and easily the most I've ever paid for a coffee here in Ireland. Despite the prices, the staff were friendly and the place seemed nice.
