An Poc Fada - Kilkenny

Carl is a ledge who looked after us so well! The Cork Hens will be back! We were looked after so well the music was amazing on the Friday night!

Nice little spot. The waitress was entertaining and made us laugh during our dinner. The short ribs were amazing. My friend loved the burger.

Fantastic staff, food and music. Large group of us were looked after by Mark and Karl for food and a few pints!! Food was much better than your average pub grub, it was excellent and very reasonably priced. Having visited many times An Poca fada will be our number one place for food in future. Big thanks to Mark, Karl and all the staff.

We needed something to eat as we were travelling through and this was handy when we went for a walk through the town. The lady working at the bar and taking food orders was very nice. The food was very tasty and good value to the extent we could hardly finish what we thought would be a small-ish snack. It was quiet during the afternoon but that was good as it was nice to get a bit of peace from the touristic bustle outside.

STAY AWAY FOR HERE!!!!!!! I was in the pub Friday night having a few drinks with friends but we weren't long leaving the place after the shocking service provided by one barman. I went to the bar to get a drink, handed in €10 for a bottle of beer thats €5.50 and the barman never gave me my change. He knew well what he was doing and what he had just done. He put the money in the till and turned to walk out from the bar, I asked for my change which he rosponded last drinks 12midnight, out the door at 12:30 and pushed me out of his way as he continued to walk. There was no reason for this at all, he was a thick barman who wasn't plesent to alot of the customers in the pub that night. This happened at 11pm. This is the first time I have ever experencied anything like this from in all my years out in pubs. needles to say we had our drinks and left.
