Jack Ryan's Steak And Chophouse

Tuesday, August 6. Ordered a chop steak well done for lunch. The center was raw red meat. Told our waitress and all she said is “I am sorry”. I showed her my plate and said “that isn’t done is it”? She said “no” then walked away. When she returned for my payment I ask her to please tell the chef. She said “ I did” and walk away again. Have always had an awesome dining experience at Jack Ryan’s but guess the chief was having a bad day. No one showed concern for the bad meal. Serving raw hamburger meat can be dangerous. Very disappointed!

I had reservations at 1230 and at 1231 after being there 15 min early I was told they couldn’t tell me how long it would be because the kitchen was backed up. And the chef was not happy. We only get an hour for lunch so we left to find somewhere else. Wouldn’t you think since they are only open for lunch now, they would have a plan for a full house? I have loved this place and their food for forever at dinner. So disappointed.

I usually eat here often, but today might be my last visit. I ordered the Stodge burger and requested to substitute cheddar for American cheese, but the server told me that wasn’t allowed. So, I changed my order to the hamburger steak plate and asked for four fried shrimp on the side. They informed me that I would have to pay for the entire poorboy sandwich meal instead. I expressed my surprise, as I've ordered that way a few times before without any issues. The server's response was that the chef today had different rules. I said, "Good to know!" Unfortunately, this experience may have cost you a regular customer. I hope it was worth it!

The food here is absolutely incredible! We've visited several times, and the quality of the dishes has been consistently impressive. The service is always outstanding. Additionally, the restaurant is accessible for wheelchair users. However, the only drawback is that I could only find one handicapped parking space. As someone who uses an ECV scooter, which is slightly larger than a standard wheelchair, I was pleased to find that I could navigate both the restaurant and restroom comfortably.

Gavin provided us with outstanding service tonight. We truly appreciate his hard work.
