The Empery - Kildare

This year was extremely bad, this is my fifth time visiting and by far the worst. Over 100 euro for 2 adults and 2 kids, absolute rip off for what we got this year. Drive in lights were extremely poor this year this was supposed to be instead of the train. Santa was ok but there was no magic before or after. May aswell have went to see one in a shopping centre stood in que and in we went.. santa not giving the presents was a bad touch, the elf asking my kids names and going to tell santa, my 9 year old copped that Santa was told. Not enough tables to sit and eat, alot were wet because lets face it after visiting Santa there was nothing else to do. I drove that far and paid that kind of money to literally visit a Santa that knew nothing about my kids. Very poor,. The exact reason you fill in ages and names when booking.. i got a baby sensory mat for my 2 year old for tummy time??? Shocking gift for that age.. will not be returning.

Unless your children are under 3 . Stay away. Absolutely awful. 100 euro for odd few lights in a garden . Santa was worse fake Santa I have ever witnessed. Didn’t even speak or ask my 2nd child any questions . Just awful. Looked like a character from bad Santa movie .

We have been coming to this restaurant with our daughter for three years, and it has definitely declined in quality. We will not be returning. As a gift, our daughter received a very cheap, broken, and unwrapped puzzle. It was a disappointment to receive such a disgraceful present after spending nearly 70 euros for a meal for three people. We would not recommend this restaurant. It used to be good, but now they are cutting corners with half the staff and seem to be getting greedy.

My fiancé and I visited many venues before finding Palmerstown, but as soon as I stepped inside, I knew it was the perfect choice for our wedding. I quickly booked the venue without telling my fiancé, as I didn't want to risk losing our preferred date. The venue is simply stunning, with breathtaking grounds and elegant, opulent rooms reminiscent of "Downton Abbey." The staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was exceptional with a variety of options, including vegan choices. The little extra touches, like engraved cake knives and personalized texts, made our experience even more special. Despite having weddings before and after ours, we never felt rushed or like just another event on an assembly line. The team at Palmerstown, including Chelsea, Niamh, Arnold, and Richie, were fantastic and made sure every detail was taken care of. They truly know how to run a venue and made our wedding day unforgettable. Thank you to everyone at Palmerstown Manor House for creating such a magical and memorable day for us. Absolutely brilliant kids really enjoyed it even though it was raining we had a ball the staff were so nice and could not do enough santa was great and there was no rush he talked to kids for ages I would definitely recomend
